NUXE Huile secret Neroli Dry oil

Nuxe has come up with a new version of its renowned nourishing body oil, made with organic olive oil and scented with organic neroli fragrance oil.  

It comes in a dark green bottle, which makes me think it may have to do with the higher natural content of the ingredients, as neroli is in the citrus family and their oils are notorious for not holding well against sunlight. For this reason I believe you would be better off incorporating it in your nightly beauty routine and avoid using it during the day. 

The oil seems to have pretty much the same consistency as the classic one. It spreads the same (perhaps a tad more smooth, but that doesn't seem to affect its absorbtion), and sinks into the skin the same as well.  The scent is lovely, an intense, and euphoric, true to life neroli (bitter orange) blossom scent. It's lovely, and quite intense on the skin.

I am going to admit I have not bought it, just tried it on my hands and forearms a number of times at the store. Because here's the problem: the beautiful scent barely lasts a few minutes. After 10 minutes it's gone completely. 

My skin doesn't particularly care about dry oils, so my only use for them is clearly for pampering myself as part of my nightly routine. As a result, no matter how lovely this smells, I have no reason to buy it, especially since it's so much more expensive than Florale. Don't get me wrong, Florale isn't very long lasting either, but it does last quite a bit longer comparatively to Neroli, at least I am done reading my book and fall asleep before the scent has disappeared. 

If I can catch it on a significant sale, I will probably buy it, since the scent is particularly dear and lovely to me and has me hooked, but for the time being, I find no reason to spend so much money on it, and preferred to buy myself another bottle or Florale instead. I suggest you try it on yourself in a store before buying it, to see whether or not the scent lasts on your skin.
